Arizona Charlie’s Decatur

Ron Lurie is a 32-year veteran of the gaming industry, building his career by serving in positions that would serve him well in his current capacity as executive vice president and general manager of Arizona Charlie’s Decatur.

Born in Los Angeles, Calif., Ron has been a resident of Las Vegas for more than 50 years. In addition to his career in gaming, Ron has also been very involved in the development and growth of the Las Vegas and surrounding communities. He served 14 years as a Las Vegas City Councilman, four years as the Mayor of the City and six years as a member of the State of Nevada Wildlife Commission.

Ron has also maintained a lifelong commitment to the betterment of the Las Vegas community as well as the State of Nevada through civic involvement and community service. His service as board member and past president of many local charitable organizations as well as governmental boards, makes him a highly sought-after advisor in our community.

Ron’s desire to make sure Las Vegas is a better place for future generations is demonstrated by his history as a pace setter in and dedication to the community in which he lives and works.
